Close Protection Training Course
The training course meets the criteria and conditions of licensing for security operatives laid down by the SIA since August 05.
It has been set at Level 3 by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority.
PPS Instructors have extensive specialist security backgrounds. These include operating overseas for British and American Embassies protecting high threat targets in hostile environments such as Iraq and Bosnia as well as UK based protection for visiting Royalty, wealthy Executives and Celebrities.
Your training course will be delivered at one of our two training sites, Nuneaton or Stoke-on-Trent. It is a three week residential course and consists of 15 days tuition, totaling in excess of 150 learning hours. It comprises of classroom power-point presentations, practical drills, progress tests, physical exercise, tactical driving skills, control and restraint techniques and CPO task exercises. It is a highly disciplined training course, in line with the expectations of a CPO from a Client.
Course fees include all tuition, training equipment, bed and breakfast accommodation, certificates and examination fees.
For students applying through their resettlement office, course fees are in line with available resettlement funds.
Once you have successfully completed our training course you will be eligible to apply for your Close Protection Operative Licence. With this you can perform high level security work as a professionally trained security specialist.
